Jacques Bermon Webster, II (born April 30, 1991) is and also known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott) is an American rapper from America. Scott is also a songwriter, singer as well as a record producer and songwriter. The stage name he uses is that of his favorite uncle and the first name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing agreement with GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April 2013, he signed a joint-recording agreement with Epic and T.I. The record was released under the Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project of full length, Owl Pharaoh (mixtape), was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in the year 2014. The debut album of his studio, Rodeo (2015), was led by the hit single "Antidote". His second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to top the charts on the Billboard 200. Scott released Birds in the Trap: Sing McCKnight (2016) together with Quavo under the name of Huncho Jack. In 2018, Astroworld was released to high praise from critics. The album produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debut on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Following the single "Franchise" featuring Scott (featuring Young Thug) and M.I.A. were released, it topped the 200-page chart on Billboard. Scott was the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs hit the top spot within a year.
